AJ’s Big Mac Classic

The AJ's Big Mack Classic Fishing Tournament will be held September 17-19 in Destin, Florida. The tournament will feature all King Mackerel. It will award cash prizes to the three largest fish, aggregate awards for 2 fish and overall first place for the Big Mac. There will be three divisions with separate cash prizes. For the tournament to be eligible, all fish must have been weighed.

More than 30,000 anglers are expected to participate in this year's event. The prizes are larger than ever. The tournament is now more competitive than ever thanks to the addition of divisions and changes to the rules. The King Mackerel Award section will award $100 to whoever has the biggest King Mackerel caught in one day. This pot increases throughout the tournament. At the end of each tournament, the angler that caught the biggest king mackerel on a single day will receive 25% of the prize cash. The remainder will go to local charities.

Fishing for Miracles

After a quarter century of hosting the King Mackerel Tournament in Charleston, South Carolina, fishing enthusiasts are ready to do it again. This year's event will benefit two charities: Coastal Conservation Association of South Carolina, and MUSC Children's Hospital's PICU. The organization has donated over 600,000 dollars to worthy beneficiaries. This year, the tournament will host many other charitable events.

It raises funds to support Project Christmas Cheer as well as Take a Kid Fishing. Participants can enter to win one of five cash prizes and 50 prizes.

The Swansboro Rotary Club King Mackerel Blue Water Tournament has become one of the club's most important fundraising events. In the beginning, the tournament's prize purse was just $10,000 with less than 100 players. The prize purse was now over $100,000, and Lee Moore became the master of ceremonies in 1988. The tournament attracted more anglers and was the first to be part of the Southern Kingfish Association's circuit.

The tournament's boat registration opens Wednesday, October 21 at 6:30 pm and will remain open until midnight. TWTs are available for purchase online or at a door until midnight, October 20. How to Tie a Fishing Lure Like a Pro
